Let’s begin with the assumption that this story is true—such a document was found. Certainly while President, Trump had every right to be in possession of such a document and to use its information as he saw fit to benefit the U.S.

How did its existence get to the Washington Post? Who is responsible for the leak? While in the possession of the D.O.J. does that office have the right to use the information in it as it sees fit?

Did this document’s existence ever leak while President Trump had possession of it? Apparently not. Obviously President Trump was more careful with this info than the current D.O.J.
