I was walking up Third Avenue today when a pedestrian in front of me was creamed by a bicycle coming the opposite direction around the 55th Street area, right where the P.J. Clarkes is.
Bicyclists in Manhattan need to have the common sense to ride only in the same direction of traffic. Pedestrians in Manhattan have to look both ways before crossing, even if the walk signal is flashing and even if the street is a one way.

When I lived in Manhattan, a pedestrian was killed by a hit and run cyclist. I think that was late 2018 on the upper east side.
