If I was in a smoke zone, I'd get some "air ionizers". They make the smoke particles fall to the floor.
They work on cigarette smoke, probably airborne viruses as well.
The better Air filter units will include an ionization feature. That also helps
to keep dust down. Beyond that, systems that include UV or UVC photocatalytic
filtration can kill mold spores, bacteria or virus particles pulled through them.
Ionizers alone will wind up sticking the smoke to your clothes as well, but
ionizing air near air filters will stick more stuff into the filters instead of just
turning the walls near the ionizers brown or black. (Like my old Ionic Breeze units
used to do back when I smoked.)
