I have a law license. Not sure one needs such to recognize obvious grounds for appeal.

Appeal.
Make the judge prove it was an insurrection.
These TDS people are DESPERATE.

When I read his account I see nothing nefarious or conduct not protected in his rights under the constitution. (Besides being foolish enough to plead guilty)

The guy was never charged with insurrection, or found guilty of it, so this Judge’s decision needs to be challenged on appeal.

I thought I read he plead guilty to trespass. One year probation.

"Not sure one needs such to recognize obvious grounds for appeal."Not a lawyer, but I play one on FR, so let me state the obvious...
- Not an insurrection.
- It's a county position in a state, not a federal position.
- I doubt there was evidence that he was part of the planning for Jan 6.
- And I bet he wasn't even armed. How is that an insurrection and not a peaceful protest.
- And cops opened the gates, the doors and waved people in.
- The judge's comment sounds like the judge is targeting Trump.
- The insurrection law was civil war related, not sure it applies to anything else.
How did I do?

Yes, so this Judge citing the 14th Amendment is full of crap and his ruling needs to be overturned.

The ruling declared the Capitol assault an insurrection and unseated Couy Griffin How can this be legal? Some judge "declares"?

Wasn’t that part of the 14th Amendment repealed?
