Having lived in and around Memphis from 1978-2018 I am amazed at the liberal ignorance and nativity concerning the crime and actions of the blacks in Memphis. Memphis has become a dangerous place for whites as the “white flight” from that city demonstrates. They had to move the Mid South Fair because of the crime perpetrated upon the visitors and the dwindling of the attendance because of the danger posed to them. The indigenous peoples of Memphis are now taking their ethics out to counties of West Tennessee as from Jackson, Tennessee, to the stateline back to Memphis are seeing a major uptick in crime. I moved to a rural area in Arkansas to get away from the criminal black hordes. One would have to see it to believe it. A close friend of mine managed the Memphis City Council for years and the stories she related to me only reinforced me getting away from the city.

Isn’t West Memphis as bad as the bad parts of Memphis? I thought most of the flatlands all the way to Forrest City were pretty rough. Champion boxer Sonny Liston was from a slough out from Forrest City and he was so poor that he was never photographed before his first police mug shot in St. Louis. My mother was from Humphrey, Arkansas just west of Stuttgart. It is a nice but very small town in the area where cotton and soybeans take over from Stuttgart’s rice growing.

I have been in Memphis twice between 2007 and 2011. I could not get out of the area fast enough. Last time I was in Atlanta was on the same trip in 2011, could not get out of there fast enough either.

I have a young friend who drove a hot-shot van all over the nation for about a year. He said the places he felt most concerned for his safety were in the South, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Detroit and Chicago. That is sad.
