Female running alone at 4:30AM in Memphis. That takes some serious lack of situational awareness. Memphis is a sh*thole. No way in hell would I let my wife or daughters run alone in that city.

Frankly I would’ve thought trash like Abston would be sleeping off a couple of 40s at 4:30AM. I guess no time is safe in some places.
You are right. I went through Memphis 30 years ago and said never again.
Every female that lives in that city should know better than to be out after dark. Nobody should have to tell her.

How can you say that? Memphis has to be an almost utopian paradise with such a diverse population. Diverse being a code word for black. 61%+ of the population.
Interesting little tidbit about Memphis. Back in the the 1870(I think) the city was disbanded due to insolvency. Most of the wealthy and whatever middle class there was then left for greener pastures. One of the upper class citizens that remained and was very instrumental in returning Memphis to it’s former self was Nathan Bedford Forest.
However since the new ruling class have changed the history of Memphis, that is a hard little historical tidbit to find.
Especially on the intertube.

I would not run here at that time of day and I live in a quiet country setting. Nothing good usually happens after midnight or before about 5 or 6.
