Authorities say they have found a body near where Eliza Fletcher was abducted while jogging in Memphis last week.
The Memphis Police Department said officers in the 1600 block of Victor located a "deceased party" just after 5 p.m.

I believe this was a pure opportunistic kill.
If it was murder for hire, the husband would have hired somebody more competent than this useless eater. They would have also taken the time to hide the body to be eaten by wild animals or something.
I don’t know. The suspect had a history of doing this. I think she just ran into a mad dog. Wrong place, wrong time.
What was she doing jogging at 4:00 AM in the morning? The creeps are still out in force at that hour.

His wife's worth a billion, he can afford a better hitman than the amateur who did one kidnapping and was caught. Perp had the bad luck with the first crime, encountered an armed witness...now he had the bad luck of a billionaire victim, RIP.
Word here is he made bail but I doubt it. He has a court appearance today, all the police need to do is drag things out a few hours, rather than risk a lot of egg on their faces if he vanishes.
