Oregon residents have become so terrified of the homeless crisis plaguing the area
.................
Terrified? I doubt it. More like feed up and angry.
I read that here in Seattle if someone walks out of an REI sports shop with a tent you won’t get stopped for theft. They figure you are homeless and need it.
Should have gotten the message when the city administration allowed and gave material and moral support to the “autonomous” zone. The city administration knew of the crimes in the zone and allowed them.
The message should have been very clear: “Law-abiding citizens are the enemy. Criminals are allowed to attack them, rape them, steal from them, and kill them. “
But are you taking your LIBERAL POLITICS to you area? Maybe you should leave LIBERALISM BEHIND.
REI opened a store here about a year and a half ago. I read on the wall that we are here to promote the planet, I saw everything in there made in China, so I asked the employee who asked me if I needed help, what is the footprint of products made over in China and shipped to America rather than products made here? He looked at me and said they need jobs, too. I just shook my head...REI is overpriced.
So I can fly to Seattle, go into REI and walk out with a 3 room cabin tent for free? The North Face has a tent for $1400 I wonder if I could steal it...🤓
‘BIPOC’
“Black, Indigenous, (and) People of Color (POC) is widely used as an umbrella term for all people of color, but now a different acronym is suddenly gaining traction on the internet—BIPOC, which stands for Black, Indigenous, People of Color. People are using the term to acknowledge that not all people of color face equal levels of injustice.”
Just another pigeon-hole for Socialists to lump people into.
*SPIT*
Thanks.
I thought a bipoc was that thing that went out in my SUV’s engine .
The Ford dealer got it fixed, but was expensive
LOL!
I have a friend that says, “They don’t know exactly what’s wrong with me, but whatever it is, it’s expensive!”
I need to get my annual physical.
I sure hope they don’t find a bipoc that I need surgery for .
The citizens in question are not homeless.
They are tent dwelling squatters. Their actual homes of choice are tents pitched on city lands
Choice of a home should not be denied
Flaming hippies!
I left Portland (I wasn’t that far from downtown) for the east side of Seattle - Redmond actually - and it’s very nice here. I think we’re far enough away from downtown Seattle that there is little danger of tents & trash in our neighborhood. There are still nice areas in Portland but you can’t be close to downtown.
So awful...Portland use to have a really charming downtown.
I bet you could...
Update. Looks like Deep State is still trying to get RCV shoved down Portland’s throat...
Note to Portland: NYC now has RCV for mayoral elections.
Nuff said, eh?
