Karl-Peter Griesemann, a prominent German businessman, was aboard the plane with three others, a spokesperson for Quick Air, an air charter company based in Cologne, told Reuters. Local newspaper Express reported that Griesemann was the pilot and that he was with his wife, daughter and his daughter's boyfriend.
The jet "was flying between Spain and Cologne but when it changed course, air traffic controllers were not able to make contact," the Latvian civil aviation agency said...
Fighter jets from Germany, Denmark and Sweden were scrambled to try to make contact with the crew in the air as the Austrian-registered plane continued to fly across northern Europe, "but they saw no one," Swedish search and rescue operation leader Lars Antonsson told AFP.
The plane, a Cessna 551, flew over Swedish airspace in the Baltic Sea before crashing into the sea off Ventspils just before 8:00 p.m. (1800 GMT).
The plane flew relatively steadily until it neared the Latvian coast, when it rapidly lost altitude.

Sounds like the plane might have depressurized.
Clot shot heart attack?
really odd.... something most of incapacitated everyone on board.
The plane flew steadily until it didn’t.
this is what’s strange.
What did they know about Hillary?
The elites lose one instead of the rest of us!
Loss of cabin pressure and failure to get on oxygen mask before losing consciousness. Same thing happened to Payne Stewart. It was a very old Cessna Citation and was not a professional pilot and probably did not train enough to to see the signs of pressure loss at altitude or under a rapid decompression did not get the mask on. At their cruising altitude above 30,000 feet he had 30 seconds or less before being incapacitated and no copilot helping to remedy their situation.
There is almost always some explanation when a plane crashes while carrying a prominent businessman or famous figure.
It could have been something as basic as low fuel or an engine that hasn’t been properly inspected in months.
Or, it could have been someone’s way of resolving a problem.

Payne Stewart redux.
If they were going to Cologne they missed the entire country. Looks more like they were heading to Estonia.
If something happened to the pilot someone else would have called in on the radio, don’t you think?
Sounds almost like the Payne Stewart crash.
They were Payne Stewarted.
Hopefully they get the message (whatever that message is).
Perhaps this is why a co-polit is needed...ya’think?
