Evening.....
Happy Sunday All, and Happy Labor Day!
My advice to you is to not use American Airlines when booking travel.
I find tonight’s lineup interesting at times but uninspiring...am thinking My Friend Irma and Cagney insulting Hitler are the highlights...
Hope you’re well...
Hi, Guys! Hope your holiday weekend’s going well.
Any plans for the holiday?
Yeah, I thought I remembered you were supposed to be out this week. Glad it’s okay, though.
We’re just hanging out and grilling out. :-)
What, here at our home KOA campground? LOL My stepson and his family are always on vacation, but it costs $2k a week to harbor the brood in a rental. So, he figured that buying a travel trailer was going to pay for itself. He found a dealer who got too many in after the factory shipped the backorders, and picked up a LOADED Ameri-Lite which was $53k for $21k. King bed, bunk bed, sofa folds out to a twin, full bath, hot water tank, all water and electrical hookups, satellite ready. full kitchen, stereo receiver, even an awning with a remote control. Fancy. They’re using our crew cab to tow it, so I said I’m going on short trips for the ride. His yard is half swamp, so they parked it in our yard parallel to the patio and pool (which finally got serviced and upgraded with a new pump and stairs so I may get back in next year). They installed wiring and an outdoor outlet box, hooked it all up to our house, and I’ve got like four adults and five kids spending the weekend grilling out on The Meat Machine, splashing around in the pool, and generally having a campout back there. LOL I’ve spent the last three weeks bedridden, but my pain management doc started me on a higher dose of gabapentin (we’re getting into seizure treatment territory here), Cymbalta, hydrocodone, and a pretty strong dose of a muscle relaxant called tizanadine. I’m actually in the den tonight. But I have MRI and CMG scans coming up in a few weeks. I sill need my walker but I can get around. A cane on a good day. I don’t even know what my back yard looks like this year. I may even try to go up to the corner to buy a few groceries. I did slip last night just going to the bathroom, but I didn’t hurt myself for a change. Been using my cell phone to acess everything before now. Hope everyone’s having a good holidy.
Good to hear from you V.
“They’re using our crew cab to tow it”
Just say no.

“They’re using our crew cab to tow it”
Just say no. I wish you stability to your day to day.
That’s a swell RV! Wow!
I’m sorry you’re having so many health problems, but it looks like you’re doing better than you COULD be doing. :-)
After all these scans are complete, my doc is sending me to the ortho and rehab clinic to try to build my legs up enough to navigate a little better. I’ll still walk like a gorilla from The Planet Of The Apes. but I’ll do anything to get a little mobiliy and freedom back. I’m hoping my wife and I can get a little fishing in this fall. She’s on disability now for her bad heart valve, so we should have plenty of time.
I hope it goes well for both of you, Viking.
