My daughter in law once taught in an inner city school for a while, but had to give up in frustration.

My DIL too. She taught "special needs" inner city kids in grades 2-4.
Teaching them was hard enough, but the real problem was violence.
Kids would bite, kick and punch each other and my DIL too.
She quit in less then a month. Freakin' animals.

When my 4 year old daughter was in day care, one black kid was constantly biting other kids, including my daughter. So my wife quit her full time job and we took daughter out of day care.

Back when my son went to first grade this older black man told this little black kid, also in the first grade, at the breakfast table at the school cafeteria to quit messing around and eat his breakfast. After the man left, the boy told the little black girl next to him he wanted to do some kind of violence on that man and he didn’t care if he went to the penitentiary. He actually used the word penitentiary in first grade. Pretty amazing. And no this isn’t a rich area by any means but it’s hardly inner city. This was about 2003. I bet that little boy graduated to penitentiary at some point. Sad that some kids have no chance right off the bat.
