Whenever the government steps out of line it is the DUTY of the good citizen to step up and whack them on the nose and shout, "NO! Bad Government!"
One of the best ways to do this is to show up for Jury duty rather then try to wiggle out of it.
But the moment jury duty is brought up you will find "good citizens" bragging about how they got out of it.
They usually are the same people who whine that you are "over reacting" and you should "just let it go" or "it won't happen here."
They are wrong.
