Because the EU, like the dems, want citizens to live like serfs. No driving, no comfy 75 degrees year round, no nice portion of meat with every meal.
It’s hard for me to see how the EU emerges from the current situation unscathed. I think it’s more likely that Europe once again gets destroyed.
There will probably be fighting on every continent as local powers scramble to ‘get their share.’ The administration sudden abandonment of the “One China” policy (while vaguely supporting the defense of Taiwan) defines the core of the struggle for Asia-Pacific. Taiwan will be the dueling ground.
