They (the Leftists) have absolutely ruined the language that was once reasonably descriptive. The word "racist" used to mean something.
And if memory serves correctly, most people wanted to wipe racial stereotyping off the planet.
But somewhere along the line, it became okay to be racist against some people, just not others. You could hate Whitey all you wanted to...that became a virtue in some circles.
Long story, short, the Leftists have used "critical theory" to turn our world upside down and destroy our language by giving it a political tilt. Perhaps it's about time we start to "deconstruct" their language by using it against them. In plainer terms, if we're racists because we just speak the truth, then so be it...let's just speak the truth and let the chips fall where they will.
Some, maybe more than just some, black people (and white liberals) hate us because we're "white." When those same people have jobs taking care of us and our loved ones in nursing homes, we can expect them to express their hatred toward us by being cruel.
If we cannot speak about such a thing, what are we then? The word "coward" comes to mind.
CRT is promoting the idea of seeing everyone and everything through a lens of ‘race’, instead of seeing and celebrating the *individual*.
When we make snide, blanket comments that effectively lump all Black people in one basket - without recognizing that there are excellent, conscientious caregivers among them - we’re doing the same damn thing.
