Destroy your Roof , install solar panels
I just put on a roof with a 50yr warrantee. NO WAY IN HELL will I punch holes in it to go Solar.
Who willingly punches holes in their boat, seals them with Flex-Seal and then “Hopes” it will hold?? SAME Idea !!
The ONLY way I’d consider installing roof mounted solar panels would be IF the roof was a solid, poured-concrete one with rebar where mounting them would be possible. Even then, hail and the elements on their protective covers is still a problem
I had a neighbor who installed the damn things WELL needless to say they NEVER worked utilities were ALWAYS screwed up in the house, called to have them removed AND discovered he would have to install a brand new roof GREAT INVESTMENT!! This neighbor tells EVERYONE who will listen NEVER EVER install these panels!!
