Yes! They are getting married March 18, next year. It’s going to be wonderful, we went with them to look at the venue. It will be in a pavilion overlooking the mountains at a resort. We already have our cabins booked.
His fiance is an event planner so this is right up her alley and she is amazing so far. I got to dress shop with her, and I facetimed her mom and bridesmaids so they could help her pick a dress. It was a lot of fun!
I don’t know what will happen with my FIL, though. He is declining, but he is a fighter. Covid just came through our house, and he was fine after 2 days of fever and delirium - just a lingering cough now. We’re all fine, except I cant smell anything. Fun, fun.

Germany freezing is good for Hungary and other countries that didn’t want to be under that thumb of the EU. My own view is that the U.S. blew up Nordstream 2 in order to lock in Germany. But there are positive secondary effects. Weakened Germany is good for the world.

Today President Joe Biden openly spoke to and searched for a woman who died a month ago, which he acknowledged at the time, and the White House is trying to claim his behavior is not “confusing.” Maybe that’s actually honest because it’s far worse.
