I have 10 grands. They are all so different and all so wonderful. Being a grandmother is so much easier and, I don’t know the word, than being a mom. But of course, we still have our children. In my case, they are all wonderful but my oldest has bad physical and mental problems. He manages to live well but it hurts i can’t fix him.
I’m sorry haven’t been keeping up. I thought he was going to have a vote?
I know what you mean...about being a grandparent....there’s no better blessing. It IS easier....and, I don’t know the word, either....something about not being as stressed, or pressed....and, being able to relax and enjoy these cherished moments.
I know that hurts ... not being able to fix the problems, for your oldest. I felt your hurt, when I read that line. I’m so thankful he is managing well. Small blessings, and, one day at a time, right?

Thank you Jane. My oldest unsuccessfully attempted suicide about a year ago.
Believe me, it’s very hard. He is right there with us politically, but his pain is not political.
I’m not sure his kids understand his condition.
I remember when he (you/his family) was going through that very difficult time.
The hurt is so heavy and no one (human) can lift the weight of their pain.
I bet it is especially hard on his kids. How can they understand? It’s unexplainable, even to us adults.
I wish we had a magic wand to waive....but, we don’t. So...we lean on God’s everlasting strength. (Which I know you do.)
I will keep lifting him up, in my prayers. 💞

I don’t know what to say. This 2022 mid term is life or death. You either understand the stakes or you don’t. If GOP doesn’t take solid majority, criminal gangs will run the country as the FBI murders and falsely imprisons conservatives.
