Another apt description is the Emperor who isn’t wearing any clothes.
But political correctness as it is today in the former free speech republic, the Emperor cannot be criticizedd. And there’s a Praetorian Guard (FBI, big tech, media) whose main job is to buttress the incompetent Emperor with no clothes.
Because one must never speak the truth about the Emperor’s lack of clothes — neither, suit, tie, pants, sans everything.
