I was guessing until I read the update ... that it was an interpersonal thing, someone got rejected or kicked out of the co-op.
Truth is stranger than fiction I guess.
Also, I feel sorry for the organizers and artists. Their art might not be what we’d like in our homes but the participants put a lot of time and sometimes expensive material into their work.
