It is not as incriminatory as it seems from the headline. This guys says “I don’t want to hire an ultra-conservative who is stuck in their ways - I don’t need a stuck mindset, I need a growth mindset” (around 4:30 mark). I am willing to bet most parents in Connecticut will agree with that sentiment.
On the other hand, the Catholic part will get him in trouble.
This guy is himself a walking caricature of a close-minded, dogmatic, rigid thinker. The left is a "herd of independent minds," a parade of NPCs marching in lockstep while chanting slogans about being critical thinkers. Their view is that "critical thinking" must invariably yield one dogmatic correct answer. It's the same game they play with "diversity," which becomes a rigid template requiring that every institution, program, or list of hires and promotions be "diverse" in exactly the same way ... always with the caveat that "diversity" doesn't extend to a diversity of values, religion, or political perspectives.
Except he totally contradicts himself because he hires exactly those people with a “stuck mindset”.
