Just in time for the Mid-Term election, a Sticker Shock: Natural Gas prices have gone through the roof!

Preparing to lock in, I was staggered to see $1.24 Therm rate per year from the $.73 I am paying now. To see why, I looked up Biden Oil Drilling Tax rate.

A 50% increase in tax on oil drilled on Federal lands (which is a huge part of the country).

Thank you, President Biden and you Democrats for Hiking the Prices before the Mid-Term Election. Thank you for your spokesperson saying they are "Pressing the Accelerator" on Climate Change Activism: more taxes and regulations to come. THANK YOU, Thank You, thank you.

I now know exactly who I will vote AGAINST. Not one of you will get my vote as Dog Catcher.

And Democrats and RINOs, I am on a fixed income as a Retiree and this makes me angry as H*ll. Not only am I going to Give to Your Opponents, I will help anyone with my ACTIVE support to help you on your way out.

Oh, and PS. I saw where the FBI Raided Safety Deposit Boxes in Beverly Hills California. Did you think I would be AMUSED to hear you CONFISCATED the VALUABLES of RETIREES willy nilly. Thank you for alerting me as to what is coming my way!

Oh, and PSS. I did notice the Bill of Attainder you used on the Former President. Yeah, seizing anything you wanted; a search in looking for a crime. You think I would like that used against me and my Fellow Americans in the wee hours with GUNS and DOGS.

Keep in mind that this causes power rates to go up too. Even if your official cents/kWh rate doesn't go up, the energy rider attached to it does. Remember the war on coal and many power companies having to shut down coal plants? This required them to demand more from their natural gas plants (and build new nat gas plants). Thus, your power bill is more joined at the hip with natural gas prices than ever before. My most recent power bill charged 14.3¢/kWh --- a 6.6% increase over the true rate they charged last August.

(Typed in my best Obama/Biden voice): If you like cheaply charging your EV you can keep doing it. End of quote. End of line.

Yesterday on my local Facebook page in southern NH people were whining about how much their most recent electric bill was.
People stated that their bill had gone from $300 to $600.
One person even stated they had a bill over $900. Generally, they had almost doubled.

This is the result of the utility Eversource asking the Public Utilities Commission of NH for a rate increase from $.11/KHW to $.22/KHW. The PUC approved this increase that went into effect August 1st.

These same Facebook whiners are the same people that were against the Kinder Morgan natural gas pipeline that was proposed a couple years back. This would have routed through the town in question. It would have brought NG from PA to New England. It would have run about 3 miles south of my residence over an existing ROW where a 1’ diameter gas line currently runs. The proposed line would have been 3’ in diameter.

Again, these same people were against The Northern Pass. A proposed electrical transmission line that would have brought power from Quebec Hydro down through Northern NH. It would have needed a new ROW over the least populated section of the state of NH. In Plymouth, NH they were willing to bury the line instead of having it on towers.

So, now we all are going to pay more for electricity in NH because of Not In My Back Yard(NIMBY). This is the problem with LIBERALS. They do not understand reason and economics. Basic MATH/ECON is hard for them.

You should watch Tucker's monologue from Monday. I watched last night on YouTube. It was all about how Europe is putting themselves back into the Dark Ages.

How people in Poland were waiting in line to buy COAL.
That firewood/cord wood is impossible to find in Germany.
That an Irish pub just received an electric bill for $9958 Euros.
That they are going to have rolling blackouts in JANUARY. The coldest month of the year.

FWIW, here in Aiken County, SC, my cost per KWH has ranged from 0.1444 to 0.2211 so far this year. Last year it ranged from 0.1381 to 0.2395. These rates are charged by the local electric cooperative and my house is all electric.
