A father in Ohio shot and killed his daughter's ex-boyfriend during an alleged break-in at the family home ... and it's all on video.
The fatal shooting was captured on a Ring doorbell camera, and it shows the moment 22-year-old James Rayl is gunned down after forcing open the front door.
Three shots ring out and Rayl stumbles down the porch steps before collapsing in the driveway ... and police say Rayl was dead by the time officers arrived.
In the video, you hear people inside the home telling Rayl to get off the porch and leave ... and there's also a verbal warning about someone having a gun.
The girl's father, Mitch Duckro, told cops he fired the shots ... and police say an autopsy found Rayl suffered gunshot wounds to both shoulders and his back.
The fatal shooting went down in July but the video just surfaced ... and earlier this month a grand jury voted against indicting Duckro on charges relating to the incident.
I love the Ring logo at the top of the video. This would make a great commercial!

“Can’t we all just try to get along?” —Rodney King
The ex was in the process of breaking down the front door of the family house. He wasn’t inviting the family for pizza and beer on him.
“Gunned down”?

There’s always monday morning quarterbacks coming out to critique these situations. And most of the time they’re dead wrong. The grand jury gave him a no bill, and that’s good enough for me.

Have you ever been in a shootout?
“As the door is eventually forced open, three gunshots suddenly ring out, and Rayl staggers away wounded.”
From one of the articles. The long video I watched earlier is now gone (too graphic?).
The wife can be heard telling the neighbor “He broke down our door.”
Too bad nobody tried any first aid on the kid. The neighbor looks at the kid “Yeah, he’s...well, he’s still breathing.” And then walks away to check on the kid’s car.
Too bad the video is down. I’m not sure the last two shots made contact.
You can hear the dad say something about a gun as the kid is messing with the doorknob.
“If the door is locked, then no need to worry about an intruder.”
LOL. Most front doors on US homes will give to a human body flung against them. Did I miss the part where there was an ad for Kwikset?
If the dad had shot the ex boyfriend for trying the door knob, he would have been in trouble. That is not what happened. He didn't shoot until several attempts were made to breakdown the door.
