New Congress members move to DC nearly bankrupt. Six years later they are almost all millionaires.

I know what the job pays. I know what it costs to live in DC.

The math simply doesn’t work. Given that both sides seem to be in on the game it won’t end.

While lawmakers who violate the STOCK Act face a fine, the penalty is usually small - $200 is the standard amount - or waived by House or Senate ethics officials.

That's like a week-long parking meter at Dulles International Airport that costs one penny.
