God is the Master Programmer. He created everything and without Him, nothing was created or existed. The Program was good. It worked flawlessly until a virus was introduced by a character named Satan. This put stress on the environment of the characters. Choices made by the characters determined whether the characters would continue on to the next level (God level?) or be destroyed along with Satan. All God required was for everyone to get along (love one another) and love Him in return for all of the blessings (including life) that He has bestowed.
What I don’t get is why they call what we’re living a “simulation”?
A simulation is an imitation of something real, something that exists in the real, concrete world.
So exactly what are we an imitation of? Where is that real world that we’re supposedly a copy of?
A better word for this would be “a creation” - something someone or something created. IOW we’re living a created world.
I’m sure though, the last thing that those who use “simulation” want to do is use “creation” - they’re mostly atheist, and the thought of using the word “creation” and all that implies, would result in a painful cognitive dissonance that would severely screw up their world view.
