Prank Call Sends Police to Marjorie Taylor Greene's Home

Aprank call led local law enforcement officers to the home of Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene early Wednesday morning in what her office described as a "political attack on her family and home."

Greene tweeted Wednesday that "she was swatted just after 1 a.m." and expressed her gratitude to the Rome Police Department in Floyd County, Georgia. On Wednesday morning, police confirmed the swatting incident in a press release that included a redacted report on the incident.

"Swatting" often refers to the harassment or deception of emergency personnel in order to get authorities to go to a particular residence.

"Right now, Congresswoman Greene's safety is our number one concern," Greene spokesperson Nick Dyer told Newsweek, adding that "whoever committed this violent crime will face the full extent...

This is just the beginning. There'll be more harassment. They're trying to p!ss conservatives off so bad that somebody does something and they can say CW II is on, and send in the heavies.

The remedy IMHO: Satyagraha. Civil rights movement protest songs done over in country-western style, human chain kumbaya-ing to banjo music. Some creative civil disobedience that forces them to do the reacting.
