I was just in Germany and was chilling to drive past Dachau, Ravensbruk, and Mauthausen. Our current and 100-year leftwing flirtation will definitely lead us down that path. We see it now, indoctrination of our youth, pushing out other social clubs like the Boy Scouts, racial identity politics with some Blacks openly now calling for putting paler humans in concentration camps and for murder. The BLM riots in 2020 were America’s Kristallnacht. Instead of Aryan ideology, we are substituting degeneracy for Arayan. The more degenerate you are, the higher status you are to receive. A country run by homicidal representatives of melanin-enriched peoples, militant homosexuals, and people with DSM mental illness. All with “Good Americans”...aka Status and Material Obsessed McMansion suburban white women voting them in.

I agree it's some mutation of both Weimar Germany and what followed. Sexual degeneracy(which most Nazis in power did anyways, see Ernt Rohm) and an obsession with race and settling old scores. Nazism combined with Post Modernist relativeism. Worst of both.

Most leftist women are one step away from Ilsa Koch(look her up). She was an empowered woman who basically ran a concentration camp and kept the skin of her victims as trophies as lampshades. She was the head and shoulders the most Sadistic person in the CC system. She combined her "sexual empowerment" and "feminism" to act on every base urge she had.

Ilsa Koch was a bad one... Irma Grese and her “husband” sex pervo pal Camp Commander Josef Kramer were much worse.

If you look into the backgrounds of the camp commandants they were a really bad bunch. Himmler knew you needed total sociopaths to run the day-to-day of the camp at the efficiency needed. The Kochs were so bad the SS investigated them. Their level of brutality even turned the stomachs of the senior SS staff. As bizarre as it sounds, in the forced labor camps(not the extermination camps like Auschwitz #2 and Sobibor), the killing of a prisoner was not allowed as was stealing of prisoner’s valuables. The Kochs made a living melting down the wedding rings and gold teeth of the dead prisoners. What eventually led to Herr Koch meeting the hangman’s noose in 1944 by the hand of the SS. The lesson we need to know was the orgy of evil was fostered by a culture of racial separateness and judging people by physical differences. Like we have going on now.

The purpose of the Jugend was to create an ideologically pure next generation of Nazi leaders. The Norwegian socialists and communists thought this was such a smashing good idea that they founded a socialist-communist version, called the Workers’ Youth League (AUF) just 5 years later.

The AUF still exists, though in much diminished form, due to Anders Behring Breivik, who did not want the socialist-communists to take over and destroy Norway, as was their want.

For Americans, the revulsion you feel about the Jugend should be shared with the equally reprehensible AUF.

Ilsa Koch wasn't alone. She was one of hundreds of thousands of German women who willingly and enthusiastically participated in The Holocaust.

And thousands of them more cruelly and sadistically than their male counter parts.

I highly recommend you read “Hitler's Furies/ German Women In The Nazi Killing Fields’’ by British historian and author Wendy Lower.

It's an area of the Holocaust largely unknown to most people.

Her book spells it out in horrific detail.

Particularly how the German medical and nursing profession perverted their purpose and used medicine and nursing to kill.

The the great majority of these women weren't even forty years old. Most were in their twenties.

One of the points Lower makes is that fully two thirds of the German people were under forty and enthusiastically supported Hitler. In retrospect Nazism was largely a ''youth'' movement. The Nazis wanted the youth of Germany to release their inner beast. Orwell wrote as much in "1984'' when he wrote how it was always the young adults in the party who were the most violent.

While I do not subscribe to Dr. Lower’s assertion - the criticism of her book by Canadian historian Ruth Bettina Birn and German historian Volker Riess is significant (among other things, she uses invented “quotes” from sources to ram home her point of view. Sorry, but falsifications like these are a mortal sin among historians. After all, similar misquotes ended Daniel Goldhagen’s career at Harvard).

I agree with you on the point that the young tend to be the most fanatical politically - then and now.

I read Goldhagens book years ago but you’re right, it was poorly researched.

I found Lower’s book to be accurate. so did Timothy Snyder, Deborah Lipstadt, Claudia Koonz and Christopher R. Browning.
