I wonder what that chart would look like with an overlay of solar activity.

... but that is what the meteorologist reports say.
They have to say something, yes? Validity is unimportant and, anyway, the dust must be a sign of caused-by-climate-change.

I was thinking the same thing. The Weather Channel must really be bummed. Their highest ratings of the year come during hurricane season.

The only people more bummed are plywood and OSB traders.

I blame Trump.

And racism. And Christianity. And xenophobia. And global warming. And capitalism. And Trump. And Republicans. And genderism. And white people. And Trump.

Example of humor from Sat before last— a graph overlay
of US Postal Rates rising vs. metrics of “climate change/global warming”

A suggestion for John Kerry to be effective, he should lobby for mandatory lowering of Postage rates— to cause a reduction in global warming/climate (requires the belief that graphic correlate they use with postage will cause a change in the warming correlates, which of course are DIRECTLY linked dontcha know?).

Now someone please remind me, what were the predictions by the so-called experts this spring?

While there is still some Sahara sand floating around, it is beginning to break up. Just in time for peak Cape Verde season.

Great to hear from you!

I think all those Teslas on the road have fixed the problem.

The last two hurricane seasons have been brutal for Louisiana. We deserve an off year.

I’m glad. It’s the Sahara sand that has kept hurricanes from gathering strength. I think the scientists should figure a way to replicate this every year. Perhaps insurance companies could fund it.

Well, I think the sun hit its nadir of activity about 5-6 years ago. It takes several years for the cool to start, so I think we might see a repudiation of global climate change for the next few decades.

I lived in St. Pete when those came through.

I remember a few days after the last one I had to drive to Jacksonville. Many trees down on the back roads that hadn’t been removed yet.

Those 4 certainly got my attention.
