What the Dugin assassination tells us about RussiaPutin’s regime, that is is weaker than it looks

Car bombs used to be a fixture of gangland feuds in 1990s Russia but have since fallen out of fashion. This makes it all the more striking when, as happened last night, such a device rips through a car just outside Moscow, killing Darya Dugina, daughter of the controversial nationalist ideologue Alexander Dugin.

She was prominent figure in her own right, a journalist working for an outfit Washington says is owned by Russian businessman Evgeny Prigozhin – under sanctions in the West for being the godfather of both the Wagner mercenary group and the infamous social media ‘troll farms’ – who had been a cheerleader for the war in Ukraine. Indeed, she was under sanctions, with the UK government describing her as ‘frequent and high-profile contributor of disinformation in relation to Ukraine and the Russian invasion of Ukraine’.

Nonetheless, inevitably there is widespread assumption that the real target was her father. The car was said to have been his, although other accounts say it was registered in her name. Either way, he would have been in it had he not at the last moment chosen to return home another way. No one has yet claimed responsibility, but in the charged political environment of the moment, everyone blaming their favourite villain.

Already, Russian commentators are blaming Kyiv, without explaining either why either Dugin would be their target of choice – there are much more rabid and influential commentators on Ukraine – or how they managed to pull off an attack in the very heart of the Russian security state. Likewise, others assume this was a Kremlin hit, either because they wanted to make Dugin a symbolic martyr or else because they feared ultra-nationalists like him would stir up protest were Russia to step back from its war in Ukraine. Finally, >>>>>>>>

Alexander Dugin’s last minute decision to not get in that car tells us something too.

What does it tell us? That Dugin intentionally sacrificed his daughter for some nefarious purpose?

Russia is as desperate as their fellow Leftists, corrupticrats, and web trolls in and out of the US. They are panicked because they are losing in inglorious fashion and like rabid dogs, lashing out even at their dictators and oligarchs. They will stoop to the lowest levels of their subhumanity to throw these last pitiful hail Marys.

Pan slavism is not new. It was born along with the general European Romantic movement in the 19th century.

A really good “meta” work on the phenomenon is “The Birth of the Modern”, Paul Johnson. Explains a heck of a lot. Bulky book, but very well written and completely absorbing. I totally destroyed my trade paperback copy thirty years ago.

A great part of the cause of the 19th and 20th century European wars was in the Romantic movement, pan slavism being one. For instance, it played a great part in bringing Russia into WWI.

Since it was UK spy agency that probably were behind killing the girl, we now know the purpose. The UK is obsessed with Putin.

"Reports are that surveillance cameras were disabled..." tells us something, too. If true.

To sunken Civ: must have hit it on the head for you to pannikly plagiarize my post into an absurd mockery of those winning the battle. I know you are hurting. The truth sucks sometimes for those who are on the other side of it.

Yesterday there was a terrorist attack in Moscow. The daughter of a famous Russian public figure died. This is certainly a victory for the Ukrainian SBU, GUR and Western curators who went for broke (remember the British talked about the “guerrilla” war for which Ukrainian specialists were preparing).

All channels of the Office of the President immediately began to “dance victoriously on the death” of Dugin’s daughter, which is a huge miscalculation by Bankova, who chose the “dancing” strategy, which indirectly confirmed her participation in this event.

Like it or not, but Bankovaya will be called guilty of this demonstrative terrorist attack, where they “hunted” Dugin in order to spread panic among the Russians, but his daughter was blown up.

Dugin is an easy target, as it is poorly guarded, but from the point of view of the information case, it is very good, indicative. To bring panic to the entire near-Kremlin informational and political party. By this they wanted to say hello to everyone who works for the Kremlin. The message is “be afraid.”

Of course, this is a game-changer and raises the stakes.
Any conditional framework will no longer be respected.

As our source explains. If a certain side switches to such actions, then it has an “internal stalemate” that the red lines are crossing. In the 90s, it was called “maybe”. Those who are familiar with the history of the criminal world know what happened to the “lawless people” later.

There are limits to the craft of war, even when two countries are at war.

For the Russian society, the authorities in Ukraine are terrorists. Congratulations. Society in the Russian Federation may begin to support the so-called NWO even more strongly. Now it will be in agreement that Russian missiles arrive at the conditional Arestovichi, Podolyaki, and so on.

It seems that the scriptwriters of the Ukrainian crisis decided to add fuel to the fire and speed up the process.

Let’s see where this leads.

We believe this is a miscalculation that will play against Bankova. We immediately want to add that Zelensky should be more careful, as the curators can merge him, hanging it on the Russians, but replacing him at the right time with a more “compliant” performer.
