LPGA is a professional sport. It doesn’t make a lot of money compared to the men, but it does make a profit.

This is different than other sports where trans have intruded. They have all been amateur sports, usually run by schools. The sports (swimming, wrestling, tack) are not big money makers. In fact, they are money losers.

A trans player in LPGA golf will no doubt decrease viewership and attendance of LPGA tournaments, thus costing them money.

I’m sure they are hoping he doesn’t make the tour so they don’t have to deal with it.

It will interesting to see what they will do with a trans athlete in a pro setting. One that is costing them money.

You raise a very important point: money. A female college swimmer who loses to a man is just out a trophy (and that’s bad enough).

But female LPGA pro who loses to a man is out thousands of dollars. And without that money she perhaps cannot continue on the tour.

As Arte Johnson would say, that makes things verrry interesting.

Do not underestimate the ability of the woke to ignore reality. They can probably ignore reality all the way to bankruptcy.
