I drink alone!
“Put on yer Madison blues. Yer Madison blue shoes...”
Pretty sure I’ve heard that song about a thousand times too many and that was 20:years ago
Get a haircut, and get a REAL job.
You talk too much!
And if you don’t start drinking, I’m gonna leave.
“One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer”
and out the door I went.

Wonder if he ever paid the back-rent.
Got his CD, love his music.
I always thought George Thorogood’s band sounded like a pretty good local bar band, but I never saw him as a star or major talent.
The band originally formed as “George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers.” Can’t find when they dropped the “Delaware” from their name.
Here’s one of his I like;

What a kick-ass, rockin’ back-up band! I think the only reason these songs weren’t smash hits like “Bad to the bone” is simply “Back to Wentzville, leave these Memphis blues behind” is so much more of a mouthful than “Go, Johnny go, go” or “goodness gracious great balls o’ fire.” “Bad to the bone” has that simplicity.
When they are simple, they’re a little too fast: “Nobody but me” shouldn’t force you dance so frenetically.
But I say this not to say the band isn’t great. Just the opposite: they are sooo good, that I’m immediately inspired to consider why they weren’t more wildly successful.
I've got a soft spot for this song, as I grew up in Wentzville.
“Bad to the Bone” - Al Bundy’s theme song when he was gearing up for battle.
Missed his show in college decades ago. Have 7th row tickets to see him and Sammy Hagar next week. Taking my son who goes off to college next year.
Doing things wrong is my way of doing things right!
