p Don't forget that honey acts as a topical dressing, a bacteria-cide on skin for burns, cuts, irrittions.
It has no expiration date;
but for long-term storage it will turn solid which can be returned to liquid after being warmed up.

How do we really know what we get is safe, real, and who exactly is behind this site?

I have very little trust left after what I witness anymore.

Same as the fish antibiotics you get from the pet store for probably $50.

1) Do NOT keep them in a freezer. Very cold and very hot is what destroys antibiotics. Otherwise they will likely last 10-15 or so years until get too weak to work.

2) Can purchase at most any pharmacy for about $50. For the best prices, go to www.goodrx.com

3) Most primary care docs will write for them....if you explain your reason and don’t come in for other complaints (takes a lot of time to write and document some problem). Tell them that you are going remote (1 month expedition on a remote boat or wilderness area with no medical in 100’s of miles).

Son is a retired firefighter/EMT and extremely health conscious. I suspect he researched the company extensively prior to exposing his family and 69K subscribers to an unsafe product.

My brother-in-law who is a nuclear chemist always gets the cow antibiotics at the feed store. They are huge but you cut them to eight smaller size to get to be able to swallow. Might be a good idea to put some of these in your freezer just for emergency use.

I agree that antibiotics are going to be severely in short supply, but some education as to when, how much, when not to, etc. is needed as well. I would highly suggest anyone getting their hands on antibiotics also ensure they have a doctor, nurse, or pharmacist for asking questions before using them.

Not for long. FDA is outlawing this practice. I forgot the date (next year I think), you (and even farms) will need to go through a veterinarian.

Yes. All too many doctors are guilty of this. But it is often the patient who pressures them.

Patient - "I'm sick".
Doctor - "You have a common cold".
Patient - "I need an anti-biotic".
Good Doctor - "No you don't. You have a viral infection in which case an anti-biotic will not help and could actually be harmful"
Bad Doctor - "Sure. Here is an RX but use a prescribed
Bad Patient - I took them for one day and felt better and stopped but will save for later the next time I get the sniffles"

I had a neighbor who was that kind of person, the patient who wanted antibiotics for a cold, would nag the doctor for a prescription. There was no getting through to her how bad an idea that was, to take antibiotics without needing them. Lord, that woman was a thorn in my side. Her kids were brats, too.

Thank you!

I just wouldn’t know what to ask for. Size doesn’t matter (to me!) so I can cut them into whatever sizes I can swallow. I’ve heard about people getting meds at the feed stores, both here and out West, but like I said, I have no clue as to med name or brand name.

I got part of my initial stash of horse paste Ivermectin at a TSC in a rural area. Almost 2 years ago now. It was $4 or $5 a tube, and no one thought a thing about it. Now, it’s ~3X that, and they have the stupid warning signs, or did the last I looked.
