It's the homos spreading it to their 'pleasure' animals.

omg I never thought of it that way. I hope not.
My original thought was if you have a pet like that it likely does not leave the house. Why kill it ? I get isolating it but likely they live in a cage anyway. Weird thing for them to say.
Unless they know something (!)

Against their wills, these poor pets are forced to explore some rather dark passages. Sometimes it takes a medical crew to extricate them from that crappy place!

I understand hamsters and gerbils. But guinea pigs are pretty big.

I was thinking that too. But, I suppose some WILL get out, and then they’ll roam about, and if a leap of disease is made in the wild, well I guess I can see how that would be enough.
There was a story about a dog, and Italian Greyhound I believe (they are some classy looking puppies) that contracted it from sleeping in the bed with his gay, non-monogamous, owners. Poor creature. But, to the original point, a pet like a dog WILL leave the house, pretty much every single day, and will interact with other dogs and people. Assume they would have done some quarantine in this case from the news, but who knows? Maybe they took the puppy to a Gay Pride/BLM protest!
