Sorry but a Perry class Frigate does not have a AN/SPY-1 radar. I was an instructor at the AEGIS CSEDS R&D site and served on a Perry class frigate. What else about this story is not true?

The Carr may have had the Aegis data via a data link in its CIC.

I served on both FFG-7 class and CG-47 class ships. The story sounds like the fragments a junior operations specialist might pick up.
