Teachers of any color are usually dumb as stumps.
If they did, it was out of guilt; guilt for being white.
They may have also voted for the provision to show that they are not racist.
Probably those who are high enough on the seniority ladder to think this won’t effect them. The older ones can can virtue signal and feel good about their vote without consequence.
