I tell ya, somebody in the apartment complex where I live has a dachshund and that thing will not shut the freak up. Do not like that dog. A lot of times, it’s the owner’s fault.

NEVER allow a dog to lay on top of you, walk in front of you pulling the leash, lean on you, or stand on for foot. EVERY one of those behaviors is dominant behavior and reinforces that the dog is the alpha in the household pack. This results in defensive aggressive behavior. Further, NEVER reach out and pet one of those dogs you will get bitten.
Sadly, lapdog owners are mostly oblivious to this pack mentality logic, behavior and understanding. They'll excuse it away, or blame you.

Yep, a close cousin of yap-yap dogs. I have two next door that roam free in their backyard. Shadows, leaves, clouds, pine cones, people on the side walk, etc: yap-yap, yap-yap, yap-yap. Help me pray for lightning.
I like how Neil Boortz pronounced it:

They’re not too smart either.
That first ones’ eyes lighting up red wasn’t a trick of light. They are some of the nicest dogs when they want to be but I swear they can directly interface with hell.
Can I feed one to my cat ........
One thing for sure about Chihuahuas, They’re muy loco.
AND they are the absolutely most STUPID of all dogs, and everything about them is OBNOXIOUS.
I think every owner is mentally ill to some extent.....
I’d rather own a rat.....only a rabid rat is worse.....

Chihuahuas can form very strong bonds with one person and they become very protective.
Have a relative that actually looks like his yap dog. Wide forehead, buggy eyes.
I got one yrs ago for my allergies. I swear it worked.
Nose stopped running and eyes stopped itching
I like how the cat kept cool and bopped that yapper on the head.
