Perhaps you could get past the paywall that interrupts after 5-10 seconds to read further detail, but I was able to quickly copy and paste this quote from article:

Sounds like pussy action to me. Can you elaborate on this 'edit'?

Naturally I don’t do Facebook, so I do not know what the police department edited or did not edit on that post.

But I read the entire article. And I’m reading the rest of the replies on this thread which seem to agree the police department stopped comments on that FB post. But they did not take it down.

I think you are jumping the gun in calling the police department names.

I know reading is tough, and who the hell reads anything before spouting an uninformed rant anyway? But in this case, you don't even have to go to the link. It's in the OP you replied to. The department simply added the following to the original picture caption: “I must have missed something, I believe that this young man was arrested, charged, indicted and then found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Is this not how our country works anymore? The hate in these comments is terrible, if you have information that is contrary to that I would honestly love to hear it.” Then they closed comments on the post so idiots couldn't keep posting stupid stuff.
