“What about the home of the innocent person she destroyed?
What are they supposed to do now?”
File an insurance claim?

The woman whose home was destroyed can file a lawsuit against Heche’s estate. It’s probably already in the works.

“What about the home of the innocent person she destroyed? What are they supposed to do now?” File an insurance claim? She'll do alright financially. Already there's a Go-Fund-Me account and it's not like Heche was financially indigent. She received some minor injuries and all her pets were saved. Her loss was possessions special to her but, while not making light of that, it is no different than anyone who has a house tragically lost to fire.

I guess. A home is more than just a building. It's ones life, one's sanctuary. Yeah it can be replaced but still it's a home.
