The situation in Enerhodar is critical. Over the past few weeks, the Russian military has begun to behave more aggressively and defiantly.
The Mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov, said this in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
According to Orlov, the occupiers are shelling the territory of the ZNPP industrial site, as well as the opposite bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir. Attacks on private houses were also recorded, as a result of which there were victims.
"Under the guise of a city-building enterprise, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, they shamefully and cynically shell the opposite bank of the Dnipro, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Mayor added.
Our fighters, as Orlov noted, do not have the opportunity to provide an adequate response in order to avoid hitting the territory of the nuclear plant.
"Since there is no fire in response, and they need to provoke some kind of high-profile situation, they started shelling the station itself with grenade launchers. There are even hits in the nitrogen-oxygen station, general facilities of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station," Orlov says.
There were also hostile strikes on power lines and the private sector.

For example, three days ago, as the Mayor says, the occupiers, during mortar shelling, hit the distribution substation that supplies Enerhodar with electricity. As a result, the city was without electricity for several hours.
There has been no gas in Enerhodar for about a month.
"That is, the city was already on the verge of a humanitarian disaster. But thanks to the coordinated work of the nuclear plant specialists and utility workers, it was possible to restore all these vital services in three hours," Orlov said.
According to him, on August 11, 2022, the Russians once again fired at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Ukraine and Europe. Five "arrivals" were recorded in the area of the commandant's office of the station - right next to the welding area and the storage of radiation sources. Grass caught fire in a small area, no one was injured. However, the enemy did not stop there.
"Five more "arrivals" occurred in the area of the fire station, which is located near the ZNPP. As a result of shelling at the station, it was not possible to carry out a "shift" in time. After all, for the sake of the safety of nuclear workers, the buses with the personnel of the next shift turned back to Enerhodar. Until the situation was finally resolved normalizes, the workers of the previous shift will continue their work," Orlov stressed.

First, they claim that Russia is using the station to shell the Ukrainian positions (without any evidence of course), hence the station is the legit target for Ukrainians (which is gross).
Now they also claim that the Russians are shelling the station under their own control.

That’s the fourth version and more idiotic than both of the above. Why “orcs” need to provoke a “situation”?
Try to READ the article instead of making yourself appear obtuse. ORCS wan to keep attacking Ukrainians using the shelter of nuclear facility!
What is the value of such “shelter” if it receives fire from the Ukrainians?
How do they kick the Uke butts on all fronts elsewhere where they don’t have “shelters” like this?
As a side note, using sich “shelters” is against the rules of war and the Russians haven’t been caught violating them so far.
