Bad acting, but good story lines, thanks to Jack Webb.

The relatively "flat" acting was part of the charm - something that Webb insisted upon. It was a "police procedural," after all. I never saw a poor acting performance on Dragnet.

if anyone wants to watch Dragnet you can find it for free on youtube. I have to go there to watch the ending because Amazon cuts off the judgement part of it

I just finished watching Dragnet 1967 to 1970, after years of listening to the radio version. I love all Jack Webb’s different radio shows.
