Watching Perry Mason myself lately. I never had seen it before but I love the clothes, the cars, the set design, and the cast — especially William Hopper. I wouldn’t watch modern American television for any amount of money.
I have watched Perry Mason for years and love it. Bought the entire episodes of DVDs for if it is not on TV my area.
You see Hopper( “Paul Drake’’) smoking cigarettes in the courthouse, in Mason's office. Man, even as a kid I remember adults doing that. I especially enjoy Ray Collins as the snarky "Lt Tragg'' and William Talman as the frequently frustrated and cantankerous "Hamilton Berger'' as the DA. Mason is almost always tripping him up.
I thought William Hopper was cool!
We watch Adam 12 a lot. Back when cops really DID “protect and serve”. Bad acting, but good story lines, thanks to Jack Webb. Plus, both actors are hunks.
