I don’t believe we can be that confident; there are FAR too many possibilities in God. We cannot know the extent or content of His conversations within the minds of the dying in those last fleeting hours and minutes, as they lay silent. We know only, and believe fervently in, the pervasive nature of His love, the universality of Christ’s payment of the Divine judicial death penalty of sin, and the magnanimity of God’s grace. It would be pretentious to claim to know the content of the frail inward thoughts exchanged between a fading spirit hovering at the threshold of eternity and the Holy Spirit of God.
I think there will be MANY people in Heaven that cock-sure American churchianity has written off as lost causes.
