She looked rather spry when she threw off that blanket and tried to escape the EMTs when they were putting her into the ambulance...
Insane nurse lived through her fiery crash. She wasn’t drunk. Some troll went on TV and told a lie about that.
But perhaps she lived because her life will now be a living hell in prison.
Who the hell would want any organs from her?
I got dibs on her liver.
Wait... never mind.
“Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Heche was under the influence of cocaine and possibly fentanyl”
Very sad.
She may have already. We have no idea.
“I hope she had insurance that will cover replacement of the house and contents she destroyed. The owner lost everything”
Well, the homeowner is alive....so there’s that.
Wondering if she had prayer warriors would have made the/a difference, in many.
What could change before such happenings?
Matt. 7 lillies of the field and faith come to mind. The Spirit surrounded come to mind.
I know. Horrible situation.
Regards,
I’m sorry she lost faith in God but His mercy is strong and His love is endless, perhaps He will forgive and receive the soul of Anne into Heaven. We can only pray for that perfect outcome.
IMDb provided me with enough information to make a reasonable evaluation ("messed-up life - generational") for the purpose of contributing a comment to this thread.
I was not making an official pronouncement, or a legal judgement, or speaking with religious authority. I was not writing her obituary. I was not attending a funeral and making snarky comments to the bereaved. I was making a quick comment in a FR thread about a Hollywood celebrity with a patently reprobate lifestyle. The initial facts of the case indicate that she was grossly negligent and endangered others. There is nothing "out of line" about commenting about that, nothing requiring you (or others) to issue a summary rebuke as you did.
As far as what "we hear about judging others," if you are referring to Matthew 7:1, then all I can say is that I am looking forward to one day being judged by an absolute authority. I will not plead "special circumstances" or beg for a particle of mercy. I would insist (if that's the proper word, in this supposed situation) upon being judged fairly - that is all. I am fully prepared to accept the consequences, even if they entail total annihilation.
How could anyone want less (or more) than perfect justice?
Regards,
The relatively "flat" acting was part of the charm - something that Webb insisted upon. It was a "police procedural," after all. I never saw a poor acting performance on Dragnet.
Regards,
Does He also look out for the pedestrians that the drunks run down? For the innocent occupants of the other vehicles on the road into which they smash? Case at hand: For the residents sleeping in his home when a drunk driver crashes into it, causing it to burst into flame?
No, didn't think so!
Regards,
And don't say you would never do such a thing. There are plenty of things that might have driven you (and me) to such.
That's what I mean about judging her (from our comfy sofas). Life can be hell and drive a man or woman to all sorts of extremes. It is naive to say we would not respond just as she did if our lives had been along more hellish paths.
“What’s that we hear about judging others?”
We hear/read:
“judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). We are SUPPOSED to judge. The Bible is a textbook on how and when to judge.
God is forbidding HYPOCRITICAL judgment in Matthew 7:1 (”Judge not that ye be not judged”)
That's what I am referring to.
People are condemning this girl without considering that we may have been drunks or drug addicts if our lives or our physical make-ups had been different.
We have no "real" idea what this girl's life was like and it is immature/shallow as hell to sit here on FR armchairs and rant about her sins.
Jesus went to the Cross for this girl too. I pray that in a moment's lucidity before her death she might have accepted Him as her savior.
This girl is dying for God's sake.
How 'bout a little humility?
