I initially asked about your ER involvement because I was curious about your sense of empathy. You seem to be very empathetic. That’s a virtue.
Although I’m an ardent supporter and advocate of capital punishment, in no way do I support psychological nor physical forms of suffering. I’m not talking about the expediency of renderings, but instead the general well-being of those we dislike and those incarcerated.
When I see the dismissal of Heche’s condition, I see vacancy.

You’re probably right. Although the reports say she was sitting up on the stretcher when taken to the ambulance, so might have been aware of things for a while.
We firmly believe my FIL was led to the Lord by his (angel) Hospice worker close to when he died. He could hear, and respond by squeezing your hand.
So you never know.

We watch Adam 12 a lot. Back when cops really DID “protect and serve”. Bad acting, but good story lines, thanks to Jack Webb. Plus, both actors are hunks.

I usually have the tv on when I’m working around the house, just to have the noise.
I never thought she would live. I’m surprised they pulled her out alive. It was a terrible way to go.
