Only fools still believe anything the government or Corporate Media say.
Sometimes I think the entire purpose of this episode is to rid the world of fools.
They lie because there is no accountability in government. Government has grown far too large and takes up far too much resources. You could probably eliminate 75% of the government work force (with the possible exception of the post office and even it could be trimmed some) and most people would never know the difference.
