Outlawing abortion in Oklahoma: Woman forced out of state to abort unviable fetus (BARF)

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Lori Brown-Loftis and her husband were excited to expand their family in Oklahoma City. They had told their daughter she was going to be a big sister, started getting the nursery ready, and announced the news on social media.

Their excitement was shattered following a 20-week anatomy scan in January 2022, which revealed a rare genetic disorder that was "not compatible with life."

Loftis-Brown was faced with two decisions: To choose to have a stillborn baby or to have an abortion.

"To have to have carried that pregnancy to term would have been devastating," she said.

She had an abortion for a baby she never expected to lose.

Even months before Roe v. Wade was overturned, Oklahoma’s laws wouldn’t allow her to have the procedure done in her home state because she was past 20 weeks.

“I didn’t want to make that decision, but I also don’t want anyone to make that decision for me,” said Loftis- Brown, who had to travel to New Mexico for the procedure.

For each of the three-day invasive procedure, she faced protestors outside of the abortion clinic.

Loftis-Brown was visibly pregnant with the child she and her husband wanted.

“I think there are a lot of times that women who obtain or seek out abortions that it’s a careless decision or that the child isn’t wanted," she said. “I think there’s a lot of reasons that women get abortions and I think for a lot of reasons, I think it’s very unfair to make the assumption about why.”

Abortions are nearly entirely outlawed in Oklahoma, except to save the life of a pregnant person at risk. The legislation does not address fetal abnormalities that are fatal; however, Indiana’s law does.

Between a stillborn baby and an abortion I'd much rather have a stillborn. At least there is a chance the doctors were wrong and the baby might live. Even if, in the end, the baby is stillborn, at least it was not me who killed the baby, it was God who took him/her home and my conscience is clear.

I won't be the one going before TV news cameras bragging how I went across state lines to kill my baby in abortion and acting like it was the right thing to do.

Let them move to California and stay there permanently.

For all of the protests against the “horribly strict” Indiana law limiting abortions, this type of abortion is permitted. But the pro-abortion folks won’t acknowledge that.

Look at all the horrible prenatal diagnoses the Lord healed after parents decided to have the baby.

Somehow I think we’re now going to see an unprecedented blockbuster number of “problem pregnancies.” How convenient.

It’s a very twisted mentality that thinks it’s better to have a child torn apart alive than to give birth to a stillborn child and say goodbye, have a funeral and a proper grieving.

I can even fathom what kind of bizarre thinking goes into such an insane choice except possibly costs. A $600 abortion vs a $15,000-$30,000 hospital bill and the fear having an expensive disabled child that didn’t die at birth.

The love of money truly is the root of evil.

Too bad. Maybe it’s exactly as they say. But the bottom line is that their horrifying pagan Bacchanal celebration of abortion is what got them here.

Its like thieves regularly get away with stealing stuff in shope in San Francisco as long as its valued under $1000.
Just don't try that trick in Oklahoma.

Like Bill Clinton and other big time Democrats said when Roe vs Wade was passed: But abortion should not only be safe and legal; it should be rare,” he added.

Cases like this should fall under that quote.

The big takeaway here: It’s socially acceptable to wait until you’re TWENTY WEEKS into your pregnancy to decide whether or not you want to terminate.

This is all to benefit the dead-baby-parts sellers of Planned Parenthood. The mom does not know for sure there’s something wrong with the kid: She just does what she’s told. “Kid’s not going to make it, lady! Abort!” “Well, okay, Doc!”

If you follow this stuff, you know a fetus at 20 weeks has way more saleable parts than one at 10 weeks.

Amniocentesis is a murderous scam. (I just looked up “risks of amniocentesis” and you should, too!)

Sometimes amniocentesis kills or damages the fetus outright, and results in disease or death for the mother. Pregnant moms who refuse amniocentesis are often bullied by medical establishment types.

The KTUL reporter, Brenda Rose, came from Canada through California. Her bio is full of woketardian gibberish.

When a fetus dies in utero, her body will go into labor. It happened to my daughter twice, both times at 20 weeks gestation. There is no need for an abortion.
