“Meanwhile, I’m sure that I’m not the first to notice that Ore-Ida hashbrowns are TOTALLY exhausted from store stock.”
Not a bad time to have a Costco membership. They have hash browns in an 8 pack in dried goods. They come in small milk-like cartons, just add water, reconstitute and fry in a a pan. They are very tasty.
Also, I have not eaten Spam since I was a kid in the 70’s, but Costco has cases of Spam and it keeps jumping into my head to by a few cases to prep for Biden’s continued economic performance.
Our grocery stores are frequently running out of biscuits. You know, the canned cook in the oven type! They may have the large package but the 5 count can was out of stock for months.
Biscuits are domestically produced.
Yea I know they are not good for you but we only eat them on the weekends for breakfast.
I recommend Hot & Spicy Spam. My wife really likes a sandwich of a couple of fried slices for breakfast, on white bread with mayo. We always keep 6 or 8 cans in the pantry.
I just recently rejoined costco for the fuel prices, but I’ve avoided walking into the store to browse save for one time (and I walked out without purchase).
I’ll have to look at that. Thanks!
I’m an Army Vet and I STILL love SPAM, if that sways you any to buy a case. Or two. ;)
We have a new Costco going up that is within a reasonable driving distance; I’m buying Beau a membership for his Birthday this Fall.
He will use the HECK out of it, and it will add to our prepper stash with no whining from him. Oh, he’ll DO the math on every can of beans; trust me on that, LOL!
Win/Win! ;)
those hash browns from Costco are pretty good...simple rehydrating and great for emergency or camping....
