I just read that there were Secret Service agents present at the time of the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
I also read that a warrant was never produced.
What was the SS supposed to do . . . who has the power to do what at a time like this ?
Oh, I guess FR is for people who worship Trump and Putin these days.
If you cannot accept someone can be conservative and not like a New York republican one might wonder why YOU are here.
Articles I’ve read state that Secret Service was on the property. And they stepped aside for a warrant.
I don’t like kings or Caesars.
If you think they are good for nations you need to read a little more.
Trump may have a copy of the search warrant, but it is ‘sealed’ and his attorney said they would have to go to court to get it ‘unsealed’ so they could see the details.
In support of that, there’s this:
Judicial Watch Files Motion to Unseal FBI Search Warrant Used to Raid President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Home
https://www.judicialwatch.org/judicial-watch-files-motion-to-unseal-fbi-search-warrant-used-to-raid-president-trumps-mar-a-lago-home/
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has filed a motion asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to unseal as soon as possible the search warrant materials used by the FBI to raid President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida (U.S. v. Sealed Search Warrant (Case No. 9:22-mj-08332)).
According to the following article, the Secret Service helped Hunter cover up a gun felony. The rules are different for the Swamp.
They made the SS TURN OFF ALL THE CAMERAS!!
************
What exactly is their rationale/authority/basis for lowering the level of protection afforded to a former president?

Then how would they know if something harmful wasn’t planted by the FBI? Did the SS watch everything that the FBI did in every room? How can the former president be protected if they didn’t?
From what I’ve read, the FBI asked the cameras to be turned off and were told no.
Re: 27 - Get thicker skin. Asking people why they don’t post elsewhere says more about you than them.
We need to be more discriminating and demand RESULTS in return for our votes……that’s it, right there
You didn’t perform, goodbye. Next.
Stop falling for the person that the Establishment, at every level for the county and state GOP apparatus is just as dirty as the RNC…..if you don’t vote for our handpicked guy/gal, the Democrat will win
Kemp v Abrams is a perfect example, but I’m tired of talking about that POS, Kemp.
The problem with our Justice system seems to be that there are seemingly no consequences for judges whose decisions get overturned in appeals court or SC.
If a higher court finds that this judge was wrong to authorize the warrant, then a grave injustice has been done. Who gets punished? Nobody, as far as I know.
What exactly is their rationale/authority/basis for lowering the level of protection afforded to a former president?
If it was anything like my unfortunate experience with cops raiding my home, "officer safety" is the stated reason.
In truth, they want to get their power trip jollies without repercussions.
There have been a lot of bad stops. Yet we say follow orders and nothing bad will happen.
I want to see/hear tangible results, unequivocal commitments to advance the conservative agenda, and promises to shrink government in exchange for my vote. Nothing less will do.
The Republican base needs to hold its candidates and officials accountable.
Produce or you’re gone.
Remember, Trump is the guy who used Cohen as his attorney. Or New York’s Saul Goodman.
Could the SS been involved in the raid? Can’t trust any govt. agency anymore.
You misquote me
I did not mention uniforms
I asked the same question! The secret service is useless! As another poster wrote on another thread: “How many explosives did they plant?”
How could the SS be doing their job if they weren’t watching these goons????
These “public servants” don’t understand that their behavior is part of what is destroying this once great country. The fact that their children and grandchildren will have to live with the mess they created never crosses their minds.
“Public servants” is an archaic term that has clearly devolved into the more accurate “unelected bureaucrats”
