The attack comes on a very broad front, like piranhas swarming through the water, swift, but each one only taking a small bite. One bite inflicts pain, but only a relatively minor injury. But the repeated attacks become disabling, and a highly perilous and even deadly outcome develops.

The situation may be slowed to a stop, should a rescue be mounted quickly enough, but the damage is done.

A smart usurping regime would tone down the desperation and stop damaging themselves. I fear this one may have loose cannons who'll attempt the worst. Thank God Trump has private security over his Secret Service detail.

If so many Federal crimes are solved and criminals incarcerated that the FBI can devote far more time pursuing "domestic terrorists" (angry parents, patriots invited into the Capitol, the truly re-elected President who was cheated, etc.) then these underutilized agents should find employment that doesn't persecute innocent citizens while wasting our tax dollars.

Answering questions like "Is the ice cream machine working today?"
