What a day, Olivia died and Mar-A-Lago gets raided.

This was my favorite song by her. Heard on it on the radio, coming home from boarding school for the weekend.

Her angelic voice blew my mind.

Interesting story. Apparently, Olivia got the role of Sandy in Grease after Marie Osmond turned it down (because Sandy "goes bad at the end") -- and the two of them were very good friends. Marie published a very moving tribute to Olivia on her Facebook page.

My freshman year. I remember that playing in the background in my apt and a friend walked in. The guy said “man! I am glad she is not here. All she would have to do is speak and with that voice, my wallet, my ambitions, my bank account, my future... everything would be gone!”
The voice is beautiful, and she was, too. However, it is the collection of memories from that era that are so sweet.

Born in the UK, raised in Australia and lived most of her life in the USA. Her two husbands were American. She was in many ways a sweetheart for the world. If you want connections there is photo of her with Trump at Mar A Lago from before he was POTUS on another thread. In her early years she released a single of her singing in German and also French. She also did Ave Maria in latin on one of her Christmas records. RIP Olivia and thanks for the memories.

She wrote me a spng once. She said,
“I love you
I honestly love you”.
Which made me a little uncomfortable because I didn’t really know her.
But she said she wasn’t trying to make me uncomfortable she just thought I should know.
I was hoping she would drop by because I was in high school and didn’t have the means to go to Austrailia.

But then she wrote that there had been another lover that she needed and she loved. And that she was torn between two lovers.

I wish she had given us more of a chance, but no way did I want to get involved after that.

ONJ made lots of very entertaining recordings....but “Make A Move On Me” captivated me - a well crafted song performed flawlessly by ONJ who looked super hot in the video.
