seeing as he had such a global reach as the singer of the world’s biggest band, he had a moral responsibility to inform his audience of the social injustices occurring worldwide.

Boy, was he full of himself.

Hate “Imagine” more every year. That human beings in a fallen world devoid of Grace are going to be unified in a worldwide kumbaya is naive, childish and stupid.

In the end Lennon warmed up to Ronald Reagan’s conservative ideals. This was during the time he was raising his young son, Sean. Sean is now a conservative who hates the woke crowd.

I figured this would be about “Imagine”, since it’s a pro-communism, anti-religion song. “Revolution” seems to be an ANTI revolution song, and I can’t see how it has anything to do with Lennon’s loss of faith. Anti-war? Revolution?

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world

But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out

Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We’d all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We’re all doing what we can

But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you have to wait

Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)

You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We’d all love to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free your mind instead

But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow

Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)
Don’t you know it’s gonna be (all right)

All, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all right
All right, all right, all right, all right, all right

I can’t listen to them. Now I suppose it’s because I can sense Tge atheism

George yes. All things must pass. Him with Derek and Tge dominoes. It’s great. He did lead vocals on do you want to know a secret

Otherwise nope.

Just in case he wasn't obvious enough with "Revolution", here's some lyrics from "God" on his first solo album:

I don't believe in magic
I don't believe in I-Ching
I don't believe in Bible
I don't believe in tarot
I don't believe in Hitler
I don't believe in Jesus
I don't believe in Kennedy
I don't believe in Buddha
I don't believe in mantra
I don't believe in Gita
I don't believe in yoga
I don't believe in kings
I don't believe in Elvis
I don't believe in Zimmerman
I don't believe in Beatles
I just believe in me
Yoko and me
And that's reality

Well, here is my parody though it still needs some work:
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s more easy if you’re high;
No hell below us,
Above us, only sky

Imagine all the people,
Livin’ for that lie,
A-haa.

Imagine there’s no countries,
So there’s more drugs to do.
Nothing to live or die for,
And no religion, too.

Imagine all the people,
Livin’ for my lie.

You may say I’m a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one,
I hope someday you’ll join us,
So the devil will have won.

Imagine no possessions,
I’ll wonder if you can.
But buy my music,
Oh brotherhood of man!

Imagine all the people
Paying for my $ongs

You may say I’m a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one.
I hope someday you’ll join us,
Cause' in Hell you can't run.

Steele Dan “Only a fool would say that”
Fegans and Beckers response to Lennon’s imagine.
Worth a listen too I think.

Our world become one
Of salads and sun
Only a fool would say that
A boy with a plan
A natural man
Wearing a white stetson hat

Unhand that gun begone
There’s no one to fire upon
If he’s holding it high
He’s telling a lie
I heard it was you
Talkin’ ‘bout a world
Where all is free
It just couldn’t be
And only a fool would say that

The man in the street
Draggin’ his feet
Don’t wanna hear the bad news
Imagine your face
There is his place
Standing inside his brown shoes

You do his nine to five
Drag yourself home half alive
And there on the screen
A man with a dream
I heard it was you
Talkin’ ‘bout a world
Where all is free
It just couldn’t be
And only a fool would say that

Anybody on the street
Has murder in his eyes
You feel no pain
And you’re younger
Then you realize
Only a fool would say that

Only a foooo oooooo ooooo oooool
I heard it was you
Talkin’ ‘bout a world
Where all is free
It just couldn’t be
And a fool would say that
And a fool would say that
And a fool would say that

The Rolling Stones were always better and more interesting. The Beatles were boring. So take your John, take your Paul and .........

Lennon was a pissed off woman beater, I don’t know if Yoko received any beatings but he had a history...

So was Bing and Henry Morgan, but hey...

Paul McCartney wrote “Motor of Love” which contains the verse:

Motor of love,
motor of love.
Heavenly father look down from above,
I can’t get over your powerful
Motor of love.
